Weatherby Serial Number Identification

This is an early Regency grade Weatherby 20 bore O/U that is one of the Italian made guns. Original in all respects with perfect bores and mechanics. 28 inch barrels that are bored imp. Original Weatherby marked pad.

Beautifully engraved side plate action and nicely figured wood. A 90% gun and you will be pleased. Single selective trigger and ejectors. It has the original front bead and two small beads-see pix. When you shoulder the gun they line up perfectly. I'm not sure why a past owner did that. It's a trim well balanced shotgun suitable for clays or game.
